The End

Recording an album can be a never-ending process if you let it be. The day I started recording, I set a date for mastering in Chicago for May 11, just to give myself a deadline. Unfortunately, that deadline is approaching quicker than I want it to. Yesterday, after growing tired and frustrated of mixing my recordings in headphones and shitty iMac speakers, I went out and bought a $300 dollar pair of studio monitors (on sale for $199!). I think these speakers alone will get the album sounding twice as good as it does now. With only 1 song left to record, I am excited about the process again, no longer pissed and wanting it to be over. Good work, M-Audio BX5a’s, you sound great atop my old VCR tapes.
